WEDDINGS WORLDWIDE

Orthodox Jewish
Wedding Photography Worldwide

I am Moshe Chaim Katz, a photographer of religious Jewish weddings based in Israel. My approach brings together expressive portraits, considered light and attention to the people at the wedding. International celebrations are considered individually, according to the date, location and arrangements involved.

THE APPROACH

A personal approach,
wherever you celebrate.

You do not need to know how to pose. During portraits, I offer a clear action and photograph as you move and respond, while making deliberate choices about light and composition.

During the wedding itself, my attention turns to what is happening: a parent watching, a brief exchange, the ceremony and the movement of the celebration.

Directed portraits and documentary photographs have different roles. Together, they build a fuller account of the day. Wherever you celebrate, the starting point is your family and the wedding you are planning.

AN UNDERSTANDING FROM WITHIN

Attentive to
your family's customs.

I am part of the Haredi community, and religious Jewish weddings are part of my life and work. That familiarity matters, but it does not replace a conversation about your own customs.

We discuss the order of events, family photographs, separate celebrations and the timing of couple portraits. I do not assume that every family wants the same approach, or that portraits together will take place before the chuppah.

The aim is photography that fits the people and the day, with care for both the portraits and the moments that happen between them.

Planning photography
across countries

An international enquiry begins with your wedding date and location. From there, we can discuss the places involved, the sequence of the day, the coverage you are considering and the photographs that matter to you.

The people involved in photographing the event and the travel conditions are agreed for the particular wedding. Availability for one destination or date does not establish availability for every country or event.

Your wedding may take place in the country where you live, or you may be travelling for a destination wedding. Tell me which you are planning so our conversation starts in the right place.

Other destinations can be discussed directly. A city does not need a page on this website for you to enquire about a wedding there.
