THE APPROACH

Begin with What You Want to Remember.

For an Orthodox Jewish wedding planned in Zurich, the film begins with questions about the day itself. Which family moments matter to you? How is the ceremony organised? What do you hope to hear as well as see when you return to it?

MCK Films brings a considered cinematic approach from Israel to international celebrations. We plan each commission individually. The films below are real portfolio examples, chosen to show our work without suggesting that they were filmed in Zurich.

Meyrav & Yonatan

A wedding highlight from the MCK Films collection, bringing the couple’s portraits and celebration into one visual story.

THOUGHTFUL PREPARATION

A Venue Is Also an Acoustic Space.

A room can look beautiful while making speech difficult to record. Outdoor ceremonies introduce different considerations. The sound plan should therefore be discussed alongside the camera positions and the sequence of the chuppah.

Before the wedding, we can identify the relevant venue or sound contact and discuss access and recording arrangements. Professional sound capture gives the edit more than background music: words, singing and the atmosphere of the occasion. Those practical conversations support a film in which important voices remain part of the memory.

Aharon & Tobi

An Orthodox Jewish wedding highlight, presented with the original cover from Aharon and Tobi’s film.

ORTHODOX JEWISH WEDDING FILMS

Light, Movement and Ceremony.

Portrait sequences give us an opportunity to consider light and simple movement. The ceremony asks for anticipation instead of direction. Understanding that distinction is central to the way I work.

Multi-camera coverage can provide complementary views where the agreed arrangements allow. It still requires thoughtful positions and a clear understanding of the family’s customs. The aim is visual variety with continuity: a wider view that establishes the occasion, then a closer expression that gives it meaning.

Naama & Baruch

Naama and Baruch’s wedding highlight, a further perspective on the movement and character of a real celebration.

FILMING & POST-PRODUCTION

Bringing Different Moments Together.

Selection and editing establish the relationship between scenes. A film can move from quiet preparation to the chuppah and celebration without making every moment equally loud or fast.

Colour grading helps maintain a consistent visual character across different lighting conditions. Sound editing and music give the sequences structure while leaving room for the original atmosphere. To discuss filming in Zurich, share the date, venue or area and the coverage you are considering; we can then work through the international arrangements and photography options.
