A Little Space to Be Yourselves.
Choosing a Jewish wedding photographer for Zurich involves more than choosing a collection of favourite images. The experience of being photographed matters too: how the portraits fit into the day, how your family is understood, and whether you can remain present in your own celebration.
My work begins with light and composition, but it is always about the people in front of the camera. I look for clear, expressive portraits and moments that feel unforced. Based in Israel, I am available to discuss Orthodox Jewish weddings in Zurich and the arrangements that an international commission requires.
Natural Light, Thoughtful Direction.
For portraits, we can plan a short, practical window around your actual venue and schedule. An outdoor location may offer space and gentle light; an indoor setting may be the more comfortable choice. Neither needs to become an elaborate production.
I often begin with a walk, a turn or a simple change of position. I choose the angle and offer guidance, then watch for expression and movement to come together. If daylight or weather changes, the preparation should give us a considered alternative rather than a reason to rush. The aim is a portrait that feels personal, with enough direction to help you feel at ease.

A Ceremony Understood from Within.
The chuppah has a significance that cannot be recreated for the camera. Familiarity with Orthodox Jewish traditions helps me anticipate the important moments and work respectfully around them.
Your family’s customs still need their own conversation. Before the wedding, I want to understand the sequence of the ceremony, any access requirements and the people whose presence matters most. Alongside the couple, I look for the expressions of relatives witnessing the occasion. These photographs give the ceremony its human context.

Family Photographs with Room for Life.
A clear family list can make formal photographs calmer and more efficient. We can discuss who should be included and how to gather the groups without letting the photographs take over the celebration.
Between those arrangements, I remain attentive to small interactions: people greeting one another, a shared expression, a quiet pause. A complete collection needs both deliberate portraits and moments that were never directed. You can explore the wedding stories and portfolio to see how those different kinds of image sit together.

Planning Photography in Zurich.
For an initial conversation, send your date, venue or area, ceremony outline and the coverage you are considering. We can discuss portrait locations, the available light, family priorities and practical travel arrangements before making a plan.
The photographs shown here are original work from the MCK portfolio. They illustrate my approach; they are not presented as weddings photographed in Zurich. Each new celebration deserves its own understanding of place, people and timing.
