THE APPROACH
A Film Planned Around the Celebration.
A wedding film should allow the people watching it to recognise their own day: its voices, its pace and the family relationships at its centre. For Orthodox Jewish families planning a wedding in Manchester, that begins with understanding the celebration before choosing how to film it.
MCK Films is based in Israel and available internationally. We discuss your date, the structure of the day and the practical arrangements for filming in Manchester. The films on this page are examples from our real portfolio, rather than claims that those weddings took place locally.
Meyrav & Yonatan
A wedding highlight from the MCK Films collection, bringing the couple’s portraits and celebration into one visual story.
THOUGHTFUL PREPARATION
Preparing for Moments Happening Together.
Preparations, family gatherings and ceremony arrangements can overlap. Before the wedding, we can identify which moments are essential and discuss the coverage needed for them. The number of cameras and the team arrangements should follow that conversation, rather than an assumption that every wedding needs the same setup.
Where agreed and practical, multi-camera coverage can provide complementary perspectives during the chuppah. Careful positioning and an understanding of the ceremony help preserve its dignity. The purpose is to be ready for the important moment without turning the wedding into a production set.
Aharon & Tobi
An Orthodox Jewish wedding highlight, presented with the original cover from Aharon and Tobi’s film.
ORTHODOX JEWISH WEDDING FILMS
Make Space for the Voices.
The words and singing beneath the chuppah, music and the sounds of relatives celebrating bring another dimension to memory. Recording them requires preparation as well as attention during the day.
We can discuss ceremony sound with the relevant venue or sound contacts before filming. Clear recordings then become part of the edit, balanced with music and the atmosphere of the celebration. Sound should help you return to the occasion, rather than compete with the images or obscure a meaningful voice.
Naama & Baruch
Naama and Baruch’s wedding highlight, a further perspective on the movement and character of a real celebration.
FILMING & POST-PRODUCTION
An Edit with a Sense of the Day.
A strong wedding film needs more than a collection of attractive shots. Selection, rhythm and continuity connect portraits, family moments, ceremony and celebration into a coherent story.
Colour grading helps scenes filmed under different light belong together. Sound editing and considered musical choices give the images room to breathe. I look for a balance between quiet and energy, without filling every transition with an effect. If you are considering photography as well, we can discuss how the two services fit around the same schedule.
